The "SpotMax" (TM) system is designed to allow total replacement of all tape in the broadcast control room with a superior quality Digital Audio system.  You always get CD quality audio, that is consistently good.   No tapes to wear out, drag, or deteriorate in quality.  The audio you put into the system sounds as good after hundreds of plays as it did the very day you made it.

Features:

"SpotMax" (TM) has 9 on-screen players that are easily loaded by either a mouse click, a button click, or standard Drag & Drop operation.  The available audio cuts in your system show up in a window to the right of the players so you can quickly grab another cut and load it instantly for playback.  The players look like miniature cart machines.  As a cut is loaded, the cart shows up in the slot just like a conventional cart machine.  Telling which cart is loaded in which machine is as simple as looking at the player.  The audio cut name shows up on the cart label as the player is loaded. Capable of Overlapping Play with the right hardware.

"SpotMax" (TM) can be remotely controlled either from the computer game port, or with a simple USB interface kit.  The players can be started by either clicking the associated player's play button, clicking a hotkey, or from a remote trigger generated from your audio console's Cart start feature.  Decks sequence so you can play continuously, play a few cuts for a stop set, or set up multiple sets for playback.   Decks can be loaded and unloaded as easily as clicking a button.

"SpotMax" (TM) works with any Windows (TM) Computer with a sound card.   No special hardware or expensive sound cards required.  Operation is so simple that any jock can use it after about 5 minutes of training.  The system comes complete with a detailed instruction manual so you can be up and running in only a few minutes.

  Plays Standard "Wave" Files so it is compatible with any Wave Audio Editing program, but can also play MPEG (mp2,mp3).

Minimum Computer requirements: Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP Operating system. 133 mHz processor with 64mb of ram memory (128 for Windows 2000/XP) and Windows Compatible Sound Card. VGA monitor card, hard drive determined by storage needs (10 Mb per minute at 44.1kHz sampling).

 Recommended Computer for best performance: Windows 95/98 or Windows NT4/2000/XP operating system, Pentium 200 or faster processor, High Quality Sound Card, , 64mb of Ram, VGA monitor card, hard drive as needed (also works great with fast IDE or SCSI).

SpotMax is not an Automation System. Our Generation IV  & MiniPlayer products do Satellite Automation and "Stand Alone" Music On Hard Drive (MOHD) automation.
